Qatar Airways Ltd. lifted its stake in British Airways owner IAG SA close to 12 percent. Willie Walsh, CEO of IAG, said in February that the Qatar Air partnership could expand joint purchases, add to code-sharing arrangements and coordinate cargo units.

Chinese citizens made 3.4276 million trips to European Union countries in 2015, increased by 22.9% year-on-year, while EU visitor arrivals to China was 2.9841 million in the same year, according to data from China National Tourism Administration.
China, EU sign short stay visa waiver deal for diplomatic passport holders

China and the European Union (EU) on Monday signed a reciprocal short stay visa waiver agreement for holders of diplomatic passports which would allow visa free travel to the EU for citizens of China holding a diplomatic passport for stays up to 90 days (within any 180-day period) as well as for EU citizens travelling to China and holding a diplomatic passport or an EU laissez-passer.
